The Commissions help inform, develop and steer the work of the organization and ultimately its impact on our region. The Commissions hold monthly meetings. For Commission Members, the minimum time commitment includes a 50 minute phone meeting once a month and the opportunity to join sub-committees as needed. All NWONL members are invited to join the calls for conversation, education and involvement with NWONL.

Health policy and practice issues are the focus of the Leadership Commission. Meetings occur on a regular basis when legislative sessions are in session and guest attendees to the meetings include representatives from WSHA, OAHHS, OSBN, NCQAC, OCN, WCN, and CNEWS.
Organized around the Education and Membership strategies, the Development Commission meets monthly to help steer the work. As needed, sub-committees are formed to orchestrate specific tasks such as the Annual Conference and review of Scholarship applications.
