Show Up: Nursing Leaders and Race

In the female dominated work of Nursing, attracting and retaining diverse talent continues to be a struggle. In the current environment of race awareness, long overdue conversations about creating cultures of belonging that are inclusive for all are underway. Will you make progress?

This interactive, panel session lead by Moe Carrick will be both provocative and enlightening. Take-aways include:

  • We will explore research conducted with focus groups of white women and women of color during Get It Together.

  • We also explore the ways leaders can show up grounded in confidence, not shame, and materially act in allyship to specifically women of color.

  • An interactive session will include a panel conversation, small group interaction, and a roadmap for your leadership in DEI.
